SHIPPING POLICY

Processing Times

Made-to-Order Items

Each bag is handcrafted specifically for you after you order. Please allow 14 to 21 business days (approximately 4 weeks) for production before your item ships.

Ready-to-Ship Items

Items marked as "Ready-to-Ship" will be packaged and shipped within 1-3 business days of order placement.


Shipping Method & Rates

FREE SHIPPING on all US orders! 🎉

All orders ship via USPS Priority Mail with tracking and $100 insurance included.

Estimated delivery after shipping: 2-3 business days

Total timeline:

  • Made-to-Order: 21 business days production + 3-5 days shipping = approximately 5 weeks total
  • Ready-to-Ship: 1-3 days processing + 3-5 days shipping = approximately 1 week total

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to addresses within the United States only, including:

  • All 50 states
  • PO Boxes
  • APO/FPO military addresses

International shipping is not available at this time.


Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with:

  • USPS tracking number
  • Direct link to track your package
  • Estimated delivery date

Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.

Address changes: Contact us at support@yarnchickcreations.com within 24 hours of ordering if you need to update your address. Once an item ships, we cannot modify the destination.

We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.


Delays & Issues

Production Delays

While we strive to meet our 21-business-day timeline, handmade items may occasionally take longer during:

  • Holiday seasons (November-December)
  • High order volumes
  • Material shortages

We will notify you by email if your order will be delayed.

Shipping Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • USPS carrier delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Incorrect address provided by customer
  • Other events beyond our control

Once your package is transferred to USPS, title and risk of loss passes to you.

Lost Packages

If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your order:

  1. Check with neighbors, building management, or household members
  2. Wait 24 hours (USPS sometimes marks packages delivered early)
  3. Contact us within 3 business days at support@yarnchickcreations.com

We will help you file a claim with USPS.

Damaged Packages

If your item arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos of the damaged item AND packaging
  2. Contact us within 5 days of delivery
  3. Email photos to support@yarnchickcreations.com

We will work with you to resolve the issue through repair, replacement, or refund.


Order Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations

  • Made-to-Order: Can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for full refund. After production begins, cancellations are not possible.
  • Ready-to-Ship: Can be cancelled before shipping for full refund.

Order Changes

Contact us immediately at support@yarnchickcreations.com if you need to modify your order (color, size, customization). Changes can only be accommodated before production begins.


Refused Deliveries

If you refuse delivery of your package:

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • You are responsible for return shipping fees
  • Refund will be issued minus all shipping costs (minus processing fee)
