Returns
What is your return policy if I change my mind?
Changed your mind? We accept returns or exchanges on our made-to-order bags when initiated within 5 days of delivery. Your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and include all original packaging. Please note that customers cover return shipping costs for non-defective items.

Can I return a custom order?
Due to the unique nature of truly custom items, all custom orders are final sale. We cannot accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind.
If your custom order arrives damaged, we will either provide a full refund or recreate the item at our expense. The return process must be initiated within 5 days of delivery, and the item must be returned for a defect review before we can process a refund or begin recreating the item. We will cover the return shipping costs in this case.
What if my order arrives damaged or defective?
We take great care in crafting and inspecting each item, but if something arrives damaged, we’ll make it right. Please email us at orders@yarnchickcreations.com within 5 days of delivery, including photos of the issue. We’ll work with you to resolve it quickly—whether that means a repair, replacement, or full refund. We will cover return shipping for validated claims.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds are processed within 7 to 14 days after we receive and inspect your returned item. You’ll be notified by email once your refund has been approved and processed back to your original payment method.
What items are not eligible for return?
- Used or worn items
- Item returns initiated after the 5-day return window
- Final sale or clearance items
- Truly custom designs (unless defective)
- Purchases made outside of the Shopify platform (Farmers' Market, vendor events, etc).

Do you accept custom orders?
Currently, we do not accept custom orders; however, we will begin accepting custom orders by the Fall of 2026.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Our standard processing time is 14 to 21 business days since each purse is handmade. Shipping typically takes 3–5 business days within the U.S.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We offer worldwide shipping. Shipping costs and delivery times vary based on location.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number by email.
Can I request a color not listed or a different size?
Requests for unlisted colors or size modifications are considered custom orders.

How much is shipping?
We offer free shipping on all domestic orders! For our international customers, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your destination.

Do you run sales or offer discount codes?
We do plan to provide discount codes, and any sales we run, our customers will be notified first.
Are all your crochet purses handmade?
Yes, all of our bags are 100% handmade except the hardware (handles, chains, etc).
Fun fact: Crochet is a unique art form that cannot be duplicated by a machine. If you see machine crochet, it is using a knitting stitch.
What materials do you use?
We use high-quality yarn (cotton t-shirt yarn, polyester t-shirt yarn & polyester macrame cord) along with durable hardware to ensure your purse is stylish and long-lasting.

Can I request a color not listed or a different size?

Do you offer bulk or wholesale orders?
At this time, Yarn Chick Creations does not offer wholesale or bulk orders. Each purse is handmade individually to ensure the best quality and detail, and cannot be mass-produced. If you have a special occasion where you need to order more than 3 items, reach out to us, and we can discuss options.
Are all purses of the same style, the same size?
No, since everything is handmade, slight variations in size may occur. We provide approximate dimensions in each product description.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and other secure payment options listed at checkout.
