The Story of Yarn Chick Creations
"I discovered crochet through a volunteer project when I needed it most. What started as an act of giving back became my own source of joy, healing, and creative purpose."
Our story began with curiosity, evolved through creativity, and continues with purpose.
Yarn Chick Creations was founded by Sangay, whose journey started in Jamaica and continued when she moved to the States at age 10. What began as a personal exploration—teaching herself to crochet hats and scarves through YouTube videos—transformed the moment she discovered her first bag design. That single design became a catalyst, turning creative curiosity into creative calling.
Today, we create handcrafted crochet bags that blend artistry, quality, and intention. Every piece we make is more than an accessory—it's a testament to enduring craftsmanship and a celebration of the stories our customers carry with them.
